Andy Young wins the FCC Flyweight Title

Andy Young (9-7) won the FCC flyweight title in Bolton on Saturday night with a unanimous decision win over the dangerous Aaron Aby (7-3).

The Next Gen NI fighter suffered a recent setback after BAMMA 26 got delayed, meaning his title fight there was also delayed. Without a fight he got offered to compete at FCC 16 for their flyweight title. And he made the most of his opportunity.

This means Young has captured three UK titles in his past three fights after he recently won both the UCMMA and BCMMA titles late last year.

Aby came into this fight off a four-fight-win-streak. Young now heads into his BAMMA title fight against Rany Saadeh in Dublin's 3Arena with some serious momentum.
