SBG's Steve Owens stepped up on just three days notice and made the most of his opportunity in England last night as he won a European Pro K-1 Title at the Warlords 2 event.
He beat Gareth Burbridge via knockout (round to be confirmed).
"The new European Champion by way of knockout," is all Owens said on facebook after the fight. Short and sweet.
It has been a good week for Owens as he revealed news of his new Irish MMA promotion - Real Fighting Championship - just a few days ago and now is European champ.
Irish MMA prospect Rhys McKee went 3-0 with KO win over his opponent too on the same show also.
