Peter 'The Showstopper' Queally (8-2) has taken to twitter today to campaign for a fight with UFC veteran John Maguire (23-8) at BAMMA 26 in Dublin on September 10th.
The last time we saw Queally in action was at BAMMA 24 where he scored a decision win over England's Nathan Jones. The SBG fighter was scheduled to compete at the highly popular Venator FC III card in Italy, the one which featured 'Mayhem' Miller and a whole host of UFC veterans, but had to withdraw close to the fight due to an illness.
Just this past weekend at M4TC 21 John Maguire defeated Colin Fletcher via submission, his fourth victory in a row.
The 'Gypsy Jiu-Jitsu' expert went 2-3 in the UFC between 2011 and 2013 scoring wins over DaMarques Johnson and Justin Edwards. After his release from the promotion Maguire faced and defeated Queally's teammate Philip Mulpeter in a very close fight.
