Artem Lobov offers Gray Maynard a 'Real Fight'

Artem Lobov (13-12-1) is always looking for a fight. A couple of weeks removed from arguably the biggest win of his career, a unanimous decision victory over Teruto Ishihara at UFC Belfast, and 'The Russian Hammer' now has his sights set on longtime UFC fighter Gray Maynard (12-6-1).

Maynard was involved in a very uneventful contest with grappling ace Ryan Hall over the weekend, a fight in which he lost via decision. Frustrated with the fight, Maynard took to Twitter to express his anger with the contest. Then Lobov stepped in and offered Maynard a 'real fight.'

Maynard has been part of the UFC roster since 2007, after he made the TUF 5 final. He has since fought a total of 17 times for the promotion, which include two title fights against Frankie Edgar back to back. He drew the first fight and lost the second. Since then the 37-year-old has lost form and is currently on a 2-6-1 skid.

Like Maynard, Lobov also made his way into the UFC via TUF. He made it to the finale but he also lost a decision to Ryan Hall. The SBG fighter then lot his next fight but is now on a two-fight-win-streak after beating Nate Diaz teammate Chris Avila at UFC 202 and then Ishihara at UFC Belfast.

If Lobov gets this fight it would be his highest profile to date.
