Artem Lobov wants an "easy" boxing bout with "chinny" Amir Khan

Artem Lobov has the biggest fight of his professional career this weekend when he faces Cub Swanson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 108 in Nashville but over the past couple of days he said he is interested in following Conor McGregor into the boxing world and has his sights set on Amir Khan.

“I’d like someone easy first, like Amir Khan or someone like that,” Lobov said (via Champions.co). “That would be a nice and easy one for me. With that glass chin, against me? I’d knock him out, and that would be an easy night for me.”

“When I look at how all his fights have gone in the past and how chinny he is, and then I think about the power I have, I see it only ending one way.”

“Imagine if I didn’t have to worry about leg kicks. Imagine if I didn’t have to worry about takedowns or anything. Imagine what I’m going to be able to do to him then. I definitely fancy my chances with that fight.”

There is a long rumoured boxing vs. MMA card in the pipeline with the recent McGregor vs. Mayweather talks, Jimi Manuwa calling out David Haye and the long standing friendly rivalry between Roy Jones Jr. and Anderson Silva. However, please note this 'card' is very unlikely to happen.
