BAMMA today announced that Wexford's Brian 'The Pikeman' Moore (9-4) has been added to the upcoming BAMMA 26 card in Dublin on September 10th.
The SBG fighter was originally set to face Attila Korkmaz until the event got postponed. Now he faces Daniel Crawford (7-1) who comes into this contest having just won the WFS featherweight title.
Moore is on a two-fight-win-streak after impressive stoppage wins over Mick Brennan and Tommy McCafferty.
The BAMMA press release read:
After a successful debut at BAMMA 24 against Mick ‘Basher’ Brennan, Brian 'The Pikeman' Moore (9-4) returns to the 3Arena for BAMMA 26 against Crawford. The Wexford based fighter training out SBG is looking to take his win column into double figures on September 10th, and fighting in front of his home crowd is something that he is once again relishing.
Daniel Crawford (7-1) was originally slated to face Moore back in October 2015, but an injury to Moore prevented the bout from taking place. Crawford's background in boxing elevates his dynamic striking style, which he put to good use recently in his decision win over Kams Ekpo. Boasting power and speed as his key attributes, Crawford will be looking to make a real statement on BAMMA debut at the 3Arena.
