A new Irish Muay Thai & K1 promotion is launching this July. Cork's Martin Horgan, the promoter behind top shows like Siam Warriors and Cage Kings, is spearheading the new venture that will take place at the Citywest Convention Centre in Dublin on July 8th.
A number of fighters have already been announced for the card including the return to Dublin for local boy Stephen Meleady (pictured above), one of Ireland's top Muay Thai practitioners who has fought over the world recently including Thailand and America.
"It's the return of the Mac," laughed Meleady. "It has been years since I fought in Dublin so I'm gonna put on an exciting showing for all the fans and show them what they have been missing for the past few years!"
Also announced for the card is Irish Muay Thai Champion Paddy Douglas and Horgan promises that more of Ireland's most popular and leading fighters will be added to the card in the coming days.
