Ever since James Gallagher's (3-0) fight at BAMMA 26 was called off due to the postponement of the event it has been rumored that the undefeated prospect would be added to the Bellator 158 card in London.
Afterall he was signed by the promotion a few months ago but was granted clearance to compete at BAMMA 26.
Now today Bellator has confirmed that James Gallagher will compete on the massive July 16th card in the O2 arena against Mike Cutting (7-4).
Gallagher has three professional wins all coming via first round submission since he turned pro less than a year ago.
Cutting has been competing professionally since 2010 and will be Gallagher's most experienced opponent to date. Irish fight fans might remember him from his last fight against another Irish MMA star in Decky Dalton, a fight which Cutting lost via unanimous decision.
Bellator 158 takes place July 16th from London's O2 Arena.
