After accepting Kiefer Crosbie's open challenge BAMMA have finally put together the fight everyone has wanted since May.
The SBG fighter threw out an open challenge to fight anyone in order to compete at BAMMA 26 and Joe McColgan was more than happy to accept. It hasn't been confirmed whether or not McColgan will get both fight purses.

SBG's Kiefer Crosbie (1-0) finally gets his opportunity on the biggest stage in Ireland after issuing an open challenge to get a spot on the BAMMA 26 fight card. His wish has become reality as McColgan answered the call to make his dream of fighting at the 3Arena come true. After making a winning debut in April of this year against Keith McCabe (who faces Aidan Brooks at BAMMA 26) via a devastating KO, Crosbie now intends to put on a performance in front of his hometown crowd. With Crosbie living within walking distance of the 3Arena, he will be sure to be bringing his absolute best for the crowd in attendance on the night.
The man formerly known as 'The SBG Hunter' Joe McColgan (1-0) fights out of FAI (Fight Academy Ireland), alongside BAMMA 22's Karl Moore & World IMMAF 2016 Gold medal winner Leah McCourt. McColgan made his pro debut in November of 2015 as he beat Tom Hogan via a rear naked choke. Eagerly stepping up to Crosby's open challenge, this will certainly be a fan favourite matchup on the night and one that is not be missed.
