While SBGi had guys competing at Shinobi War 8 in Liverpool their SBG Cork cousins had two amateurs compete at Battle Arena 40 in Northampton.
Amateur heavyweight Ryan Spillane took part in the main event, which was for a title, however he lost to a first round TKO to Joaquim Carvahal.
