[Video] Ben Davis wins via TKO in Malta

Irish MMA veteran Ben Davis (6-5) won his comeback fight yesterday in Malta at Centurion FC 1. The Shaolin MMA fighter scored a first round TKO over Ruslam Malsam (2-7), who stepped up on late notice when Croatia's Manuel Bilic (9-5) had to withdraw through injury.

This was just his second fight in almost six years and after losing the previous two, too Tommy McCaffert & Owen Roddy, respectively, this means it was his first win since March 2011.

The ending of the fight was marked with a bit of bad refereeing. Davis, in a dominant position on the ground, clearly had his opponent hurt as he reigned down punches. Looking to the ref, Davis stood away from his opponent to show the ref the fight should have been called off. Watch the video below.

Elsewhere on the night Rush FA's Paul Lawrence (3-1) suffered the first defeat of his pro career after being TKO'd by Nassourdine Imavov (2-1).
