It was billed as the biggest domestic fight ever in Irish MMA, and rightfully so. Never before had two Irish UFC veterans squared off against one another but that is exactly what happened when TUF winner Norman Parke faced two-time UFC vet Paul Redmond at BAMMA 28 at the SSE Arena on Friday night.
It was Norman Parke who walked away with the win scoring a majority decision over Redmond. As expected, it was a grinding and grueling three rounds for these warriors. A mistake or a slip up from either could've easily lost them the fight.
Norman Parke did narrowly miss weight for this bout meaning he wasn't eligible to win the title.
Here is the video of him being awarded the decision and post fight interview.
