Just two weeks after his heroics in Japan where he fought the World ISKA Champion to a draw (click here to read more) Ryan Sheehan headed to Italy on Saturday night to face Vyorel Vintu from the Ukraine in the main event of Wolf of the Ring in Milan.
As if getting over a tough match against the world champ two weeks prior wasn't enough, Sheehan faced some difficulty making it to Italy. Delayed and cancelled flights with some missing bags caused some adversity for Sheehan and his team.
However the Cork man was not phased by this and he go the win on points. Sheehan took to facebook following the fight:
"Winner winner chicken dinner. So won the fight in point no way on earth was I coming home without a win!! Thanks for the support back home!! Time to put the feet up and enjoy my birthday on Monday."
