Brian Moore and Ben Forsyth added to BAMMA 26

The SBG duo of Brian Moore (9-4) and Ben Forsyth (1-0) have been added to the BAMMA 26 card in Dublin's 3Arena scheduled for September 10th.

A BAMMA press release read:

Brian ’The Pikeman’ Moore vs. Attila Korkmaz (Featherweight Bout)

After a successful debut at BAMMA 24 against Mick ‘Basher’ Brennan, Brian 'The Pikeman' Moore (9-4) returns to the 3Arena for BAMMA 26 against Korkmaz. The Wexford based fighter training out of SBG is looking to take his win column into double figures on September 10th, and fighting in front of his home crowd is something that he is relishing once more.

Possibly one of European MMA’s best kept secrets, Attila Korkmaz (7-2) is no stranger to BAMMA events. A regular fixture in current BAMMA Flyweight Champion Rany Saadeh’s corner, Attila now steps out of the shadows to make his own mark in the promotion. Korkmaz is a self described all rounder, but also has an outstanding Muay Thai and BJJ background. With all eyes on Moore, Korkmaz will be out to spoil the party and set a path towards bringing home Germany’s second BAMMA title. Living in Berlin, Korkmaz trains out of Main Team and also out of Phuket Top Team.

Ben ‘Spider Monkey’ Forsyth Vs. Dave ‘Caveman’ Sweeney (Light Heavyweight Bout)

Winner of the 2015 Gold Medal in the IMMAF European Championships, Ben ‘Spider Monkey’ Forsyth (1-0) makes his entrance into the BAMMA promotion. Training out of SBG Ireland, Forsyth is known for his "flashy kicking style” having taken up Tae Kwon Do at an early age and naturally progressed into MMA with John Kavanagh and the team at SBG. Scoring his first victory over Luke Taylor via submission in just two minutes of the first round in February of this year, Forsyth now looks to rack up his second pro victory at BAMMA 26.

Team Sweeney Wrestling head coach Dave ‘Caveman’ Sweeney is set to make his pro debut at BAMMA 26. Based out of Bolton, the 2012 Olympic team member is Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley’s wrestling coach and Sweeny has also won National, European and World Championships throughout his 12 year wrestling career. Now making the transition into MMA, Sweeney will look to follow a similar path as BAMMA’s Mike Grundy and make an immediate impact in the division.
