Irish MMA promotion Cage Legacy Fighting Championship today announced that Decky Dalton (6-1) and UFC veteran Norman Parke (21-5-1) will main event their innaugural show on October 29th in the TLT Theatre, Drogheda.
The pair recently exchanged words via social media after Dalton said he would come out of MMA retirement to face Parke and then the TUF Smashes winner responded on Twitter. Check out the exchange below:
Dalton returned to MMA after four year hiatus and beat Mike Cutting at BAMMA 24. Two months later he declared that was to retire after his fight at Clan Wars 24, he lost to Gary Morris via a doctor stoppage due to a cut. But now Cage Legacy Fighting Championship are granting his wish for a big fight.
Earlier this year Norman Parke was surprisingly released by the UFC after a 5-3-1 run with the company that saw him get wins over the likes of Reza Madadi, Kazuki Tokudome, Jon Tuck and Colin Fletcher.
