Next month the Cage Warriors flyweight title could be coming back to Ireland as Dublin's own Blaine O'Driscoll (6-2) will look to snatch the title from Nathan Greyson (6-2) in the main event of Cage Warriors 99 in Colchester, England.
“Nathan Greyson is not an easy man to match because he can end the fight in so many ways, even in the later rounds as we learned earlier this year,” Cage Warriors President Graham Boylan stated via MMAJunkie. “It takes a truly game competitor to get in that cage with him and we have that in Blaine O’Driscoll. This will be an awesome main event.”
Greyson is currently on a three-fight-winning-streak, all stoppages, including a very impressive TKO win over Sam Creasey to win the title in his last fight.
This will be O'Driscoll's first fight for Cage Warriors after finishing with BAMMA. The 26-year-old had previously beat Darren O'Gorman in the promotion and is currently on a 5-1 run.
The Cage Warriors flyweight belt was previously held by Irish legend Neil Seery right before he joined the UFC and O'Driscoll will be hoping to emulate Seery on November 17th.
