EFR's James O'Boyle scored a TKO win at Headhunters FC this past weekend in Scotland. The featherweight was awarded the win after his opponent Andy Burns failed to answer the bell in the second round.
He used his striking game effectively staying on the outside and picked away Burns in what was a very solid display from the amateur fighter.
Speaking about the win, O'Boyle posted the following on Facebook about the fight:
Got the win last night. Felt calm and controlled, so happy with that. Just like like to thank Davy and all the boys down at the club for helping me prep for this fight... also Luke Mong Roche for helping me aswell with my striking. Ignite studios done great work with my strength and conditioning as always and Steven Moore done a great job in my corner clear instructions threw out.. on to the next one for the Akuma title.
