It was recently announced that Team Evolve/Ryano Derry's Gavin Kelly (8-3) signed an exclusive multi-fight contract with Cage Warriors.
The other day it was revealed by the promotion that his first fight of his new contract will take place on May 6th in Newport Wales and that his opponent will be undefeated Welsh fighter Josh Reed (6-0).
"I'm very excited to be back on Cage Warriors and to make my UFC Fight Pass and BT Sport debut on such a great card," Kelly told us. "I am looking forward to testing myself against one of Wales' finest in Josh Reed."
Reed turned professional in 2013 and has won six straight, five via stoppage and scored a split decision win over Ireland's Martin Sheridan last time out at Cage Warriors 79.
