Richie Ivory (5-4) is set to compete in his fifth fight Down Under. The Arklow native, pictured top right, moved to Australia a couple of years ago and has since become deeply involved in the MMA scene there, even taking up a coaching role at Bendigo MMA Academy.
Ivory comes into this contest having won his past two fights, both via TKO and both over tricky opponents. He beat the previously undefeated Aden Hawke and then experienced American Matt George in his last fight at Brace 40.
His opponent this time around is Ben Watson (2-0). He made his pro debut earlier this year and wracked up decision win in his pro debut and then secured a submission in his last fight in June.
Brace 42 will take place on August 13th from Canberra, Australia.
