Popular Irish fighter Joe McColgan (2-1) has been added to Cage Warriors 83 in Wales on May 6th. His opponent will be the undefeated Welsh fighter Richard Williams (4-0).
McColgan was last in action just last month but was on the losing side of a very close split decision to the vastly more experienced Frenchman Arnold Quero (14-5). Before this fight McColgan stunned the European MMA scene with a decision win over Conor McGregor teammate and UFC hopeful Peter Queally (9-3).
Williams made his pro debut just over a year ago and has already registered four wins, all coming via first round stoppage. His most notable being a submission win over nine fight veteran Terry Doyle (4-5). This fight will mark his third under the Cage Warriors banner.
