It looks like Ireland's Joseph Duffy (17-3) is stepping back in the cage for the first time since November last year. A report from MMANYTT.com says the Donegal man will face Ross Pearson (20-15) at UFC Fight Night 142 in Adelaide, Australia on December 2.
In his last outing Duffy lost to James Vick via TKO in the second round at UFC 217, snapping a two-fight-win-streak for the lightweight. Overall the 30-year-old is 4-2 in the UFC.
Pearson will come into this contest having just won one of his past five fights. The TUF 9 winner is a long stay in the promotion with 25 fights now in the UFC. Although the Englishman is on a 1-5 skid, most of his losses have been via decision. Making him a tough challenge for the returning Joe Duffy.
