Northern Ireland's Leah McCourt won Gold at the IMMAF Amateur World Championships in Las Vegas on Sunday.
McCourt won three fights, all first round stoppages, over the course of four days to capture gold in the women's featherweight division. What makes it all the more impressive is that she is normally a lightweight but this year there was no lightweight category which meant daily weight-cuts to do.
Here is her road to Gold:
Quarter Finals - Leah McCourt vs. Yvonne Chow (Aus) via submission, rd 1.
Semi Finals - Leah McCourt def. Taryn Conklin (USA) via submission, rd 1.
Final - Leah McCourt def. Julia Dorny (GER) via TKO, rd 1.
