Cage Warriors today announced that Cork's Lloyd Manning (2-0) will feature on the upcoming April 1st card in Liverpool. His opponent will once again be Scotland's Paull McBain (3-0). The pair were originally slated to square off against one another on the promotion's recent Dublin card however the bout was cancelled shortly before the event.
Despite the change, Manning has told us that he is more than ready for this fight.
"Yeah of course a little disappointed on the night when the fight was cancelled but I went straight back to training. And headed back over to Next Generation in Liverpool to prepare, So you can imagine I am more than ready!"
After an impressive amateur career and some great accomplishments in Sambo, Manning made his pro MMA debut last year and wracked up two victories, both very early first round stoppages. Speaking to us before the cancelled fight with McBain he said his only plan is to be the best and become a world champion.
Cage Wariors 82 will be headlined by one of Europe's top prospects Paddy Pimblett. The card will also feature Northern Ireland's own Tommy Quinn.
