The UFC recently released info on the countries and cities they will be visiting in Europe throughout the remainder of the year and unfortunately Ireland isn't in their plans this year, or so it seems.
After events in 2014, 2015 and 2016 taking place on the Emerald Isle between Dublin and Belfast it seems Irish fans will have to make do without this year.
UFC London takes place this weekend of course and it features Irish MMA fan favourites Joe Duffy and Gunnar Nelson.
The shows announced are as follows:
- Glasgow, Scotland - July 16th
- Rotterdam, The Netherlands - September 2nd
- Gdansk, Poland - October 21st
The UFC have in the past held European events in December also so there is a slight possibility that another show could be announced for this region.
