Brave Combat Federation 1 will host its inaugural event on September 23rd in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain and it will feature Irishman Peter Queally (8-2) in the co-main event, as confirmed by SevereMMA.com.
Queally, who is currently in Las Vegas helping Conor McGregor prepare for his rematch against Nate Diaz, is currently riding a three-fight-win-streak. His last fight was a win over Nathan Jones at BAMMA 24 this past February. An illness did force him to withdraw from his fight at Venator FC III in May.
The SBG fighter did campaign for a fight against UFC veteran John Maguire at BAMMA 26 in Dublin but with the announcement of this fight it all but puts a halt to the prospect of them fighting.
Now Queally will face KHK MMA’s Eldar Eldarov (6-1). The Russian hasn't lost a fight since his debut fight which was against Khabib Nurmagomedov back in 2009 and his six wins have all come via submission. Eldarov's record would be 7-1 however his last fight, which he also won via submission, is considered an exhibition bout.
The event will be available for free on the Brace Combat Federation's website.
