What a year Arklow man Richie Ivory (7-4) is having on the Australian MMA scene as earlier today he scored his second KO win this year, and his third straight KO.
Ivory was facing the previously undefeated Ben Watson (2-1) on the main card of Brace 42. The event aired on UFC Fight Pass in the early hours of the morning today.
The KO came just one minute into the first round when his opponent threw a lazy jab. Ivory, in southpaw stance, then reacted immediately bringing his left shin to Watson's head and that was all she wrote.
Richie Ivory now moves to 2-1 under the Brace MMA promotion and with three straight KO wins he is surely setting himself up for a bantamweight title shot.
