Tanko FC held their first event in Manchester, England last night. The event received a lot of promotion thanks in part to the heated rivalry between Brendan Loughnane and Eden Newton in the main event and the stellar co-main event of Saul Rogers vs. Andre Winner. Both Loughnane and Rogers walked away the victors.
The event also streamed on the Sports Bible on facebook adding a bit of main stream coverage to the event.
Unfortunately though it wasn't the most successful nights for Irish MMA. Four amateur fighters from three different gyms around Ireland competed on the show posting a record of 1-3 on the night.
