Last night at CSFC 17 in Doncaster Glenn Irvine (1-2) notched up his first win as a professional with a first round KO win over Rob Fulton (1-2).
The Next Gen NI fighter landed a thumping right hand to crumple Fulton, who was backed up against the cage.
Irvine had a tough path thus far as a pro. In his debut he took on the vastly more experienced John Redmond and lost via TKO and he followed that up a very quick submission loss to Keith McCabe, both fight happening in Ireland's largest arenas.
Irvine posted the following on his fb page about the fight:
"Wow what a feeling it's still hasn't sunk in yet. So last week got a call to jump in on a weeks notice to fight on the main event in Doncaster. After a rough start to my MMA career I got my first professional win last night I got the win via 23 seconds KO in the first round."
