A pair of amateur fighters from Belfast gym IFS made their amateur MMA debuts in the Generations of Combat MMA promotion in Sunderland over the weekend.
Curtis Birtles (pictured above, top right) defeated his opponent Aidan Strong via unanimous decision in what was a very solid showing from the lightweight fighter.
Later in the night Darren Devine (bottom right) scored a TKO via ground and pound over Ian Hawkins in the first round. You can see that below:
