Irish based Polish fighter Konrad Iwanowski (5-1) made a successful to the cage on Saturday night in Belfast when he defeated French veteran Christophe Rea (3-1) via TKO at Clan Wars 27.
The last time we saw Iwanowski in action was back in August of 2014, two and a half years ago, and due to injuries he wasn't able to compete until this past weekend.
The Team Fantom fighter showed no sign of ring rust and was dominant from the start. He secured a takedown and began landing some vicious ground and pound with punches and elbow and opened up a nasty cut around the eye of Rea.
The Frenchman showed his toughness and survived to the end of the round but the doctor stepped in and said he was unfit to continue thus awarding Iwanowski the TKO victory.
