SBG's Sinead Kavanagh (4-1) has been added to Bellator 182 in New York on August 25th and she will face Australia's Arlene Blencowe (9-4), as reported by WMMARankings.com.
Kavanagh was last in action at Bellator 173 in February where she suffered her first professional loss after Iony Razafiarison won a unanimous decision in their contest. Prior to this fight she four straight which included a pair of first round TKO/KOs.
34-year-old Blencowe is currently 2-2 in Bellator and last fought for the promotion in October last year. Her losses in Bellator were to current champ Julia Budd and WMMA great Marloes Coenen. Since her last fight in Bellator she has registered back to back first round KO wins on the local Australian scene.
Both women have a reputation to KO people so this should make for an interesting contest.
Bellator 182 goes down at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York on August 25th and features Andrey Koreshkov vs. Chidi Njokuani in the main event and Brennan Ward vs. Fernando Gonzalez in the co-main event.
