[Video] Neil Seery's retirement speech UFC Glasgow

After 12 years and 39 professional fights Neil Seery has hung up the gloves. The 37-year-old had his swansong at UFC Glasgow earlier tonight and in typical '2Tap' fashion the 37-year-old faced a very tough challenge in Brazilian Alexandre Pantoja (18-2), a fighter ten years his junior and who hasn't lost in over ten previous fights.

Seery was submitted with a rear-naked choke in the third round and it is always poetic to see a fighter leave on his back. It might not have been the result the Irish vet wanted but he has a very successful career, one which saw him compete in the UFC seven times in six different countries and win the Cage Warriors flyweight title.

Here is his retirement speech following the fight:

[Video] Charlie Ward uniquely KO'd at UFC Glasgow

Charlie Ward (3-3) suffered a very strange first round KO at UFC Glasgow earlier this evening. His opponent Galore Bofando (5-2) threw the SBG fighter to the ground where he seemingly landed on his head, Bofando followed up with a series punch to finish Ward off.

This is Ward's second appearance in the UFC. He was finished in the first round in his debut at UFC Belfast late last year.
