Over the past number of days Team Ryano's Paul Redmond (11-6) has been lobbying on Twitter for an opportunity to fight on the upcoming Bellator card in Madison Square Garden in June.
As expected due to his popularity, Redmond received widespread support from fans, teammates and fellow fighters.
One fan tweeted at Bellator's Scott Coker and matchmaker and also included fighter Ryan Couture, asking if he would be interested in facing Redmond at MSG to which he responded saying it "sounds like fun."
Ryan Couture is the son of MMA legend Randy Couture and has competed in Strikeforce, UFC and is currently 2-2 in Bellator.
The MSG card for Bellator currently features the likes of Chael Sonnen vs. Wanderlei Silva, Fedor vs. Matt Mitrione and Irish MMA's James Gallagher vs. Chinzo Machida and much more.
